Hunger: No favoritism allowed

Lately I've been thinking about hunger and the effects of hunger in my surrounding community. When I look at folks affected by this, I learn that hunger respects no one. Hunger can strike anyone at anytime. Those who are blessed to obtain the "hunger remedy" will forgo hunger pangs, but I pity those who are not so fortunate. What would our society look like without hunger issues? Children in the US would not have to go to bed without proper nutrition. Test scores in school would be much higher. Diseases and common illnesses could be fought off due to having a stable and strong immune system.

Unfortunately, we do not live in a society that is free from hunger. This is why we must reach out to those who are hurting. We must be ready and willing to give a helping hand to those in need. Yes, our comfort zone will totally be turned upside down, but it's imperative for us to realize that helping others is our obligation. Will you join me in reaching out to those who need a helping hand?
