Hope Outreach, the outreach ministry at my church, has been working very hard to help eliminate hunger. We've devoted the month of February as "Love Your Neighbor Month." Cashing-in on Valentine's Day, we are trying to get people within our community to think about others. Our church doors will be open all day Saturday, February 14, to accept donations of canned food and other non-perishables. This food will then be distributed throughout the next few months to the needy.
Hope Outreach has been our vision of reaching out to help the less fortunate. There are so many people who need a helping hand. We want to be that helping hand. We want to share the burden.
Please pray that we will have the resources to meet the needs of those who ask for our assistance.
